Hi everyone ! I've just ordered a 4th gen iPad and I should get it in a week or two. This is going to be my first iDevice so I'm excited and slightly worried (and a bit ashamed of going to the dark side ;) ). I currently have a note 2 as my phone and mini-tablet (and had the note 1 before it) but after a year of using a big phone as my main device I feel like it will be a better experience to get a bigger device. The place where my note falls short is web browsing (small screen). I compared a lot of tablets (note 10.1, nexus 10, msft surface, asus infinity, ipad mini ...) and I settled for the iPad since 4:3 aspect ratio is superior for web browsing. Well, I hope that I won't regret it. I'll be back here as soon as I get my iPad to get some apps and games suggestions.

Thanks everyone. I got my ipad today. I was surprised by how many bugs I faced with an os supposed to 'just work´. I got problems with some wifi networks then struggled for more than an our trying to connect to my apple account. I had to reset network settings in order to make everything work as intended. After a few minutes I started getting a popup to set 3 questions/answers for my apple id, except that the questions' list was blank! The questions showed up after half an hour or so (whithout me doing anything special). It really was a frustrating first experience with iOS. Now things seem to work a little better. In the bright side of things, I like the form factor, it's perfect for my needs. So happy that I chose an ipad4 over an ipad mini.
