Help please :(

I just got a brand new 16 gb iPad air at GameStop and when ever I plug it in to charge, the metal part of the USB End and the charger that goes into the outlet always get warm. I have tried to different wall chargers and 2 different cords, both with the same results. I'm stuck at 37%, trying to find a solution. Thanks in advance!

As eddieg told you, it's normal behaviour that the charger gets warm while charging.
I'm wondering, though, why you're stuck at 37 %. Does this mean it's not charging, or does this happen because you stop charging/unplug the charger when it gets warm?
