Yes it is not always possible to constantly keep up, technology moves so fast

I remember waiting for the iPad2 to drop. Since I now own the iPad2 since release day I'll be waiting for the iPad4 before I upgrade.

They've reduced the price to £329 as well. Given that the new one is the same price as what I paid for my ipad2 last May, I'm not paying out again for what is basically a clearer screen. I'll wait till next year.

Huh? Intermediate between what and what? It's an upgrade. Faster processor, better camera, retina display, 4G network support.

You can and should expect this type of upgrade every year with the product refresh cycle.
