Hi from Weymouth, England

Having been a PC user for most of my life, I felt the mobility the iPad2 gave was worth migrating to an Apple machine. However, my main use is to be for the display of photos and so far my attempts to transfer photos from a camera SD card to the iPad via the camera transfer kit has failed. Any solutions?

I don't have a specific answer for you but I have seen many discussions on here regarding this, have a search on the site but let us know if you can't find anything.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Thanks for your welcome messages. I have only had the iPad for a couple of days and have since been experimenting with it. The SD card input issue has been partially solved. I found that the iPad could read my Panasonic camera SD card, but not one compiled from my PC. I will continue experimenting as my wife's Sony camera uses a "memory stick" which is not compatible and the only way to download images is via the PC.
