How to Convert MKV to The New iPad (iPad 3)

iPad doesn't support MKV files. iPad vide players still can't support it well, you have to convert.

no need to convert try vlc on itunes store search vlc and try it for free with ads if u like it

Just for clarification: VLC got removed from the App Store ages ago. So, it's not a viable alternative.

There is an app there called vlc streamer and another called vlc remote. One streams from your PC and the other is a remote control app that let you control vlc running on a PC.

AVPlayer HD works great. I haven't found a video that won't play using it. It's worth the $5 or whatever it costs now.
