How do I update ?

I Have an iPad 1 and i wanted to know how do i update it to iOS 4 ?

If you do not have SHSH blobs for iOS 4, then you will not be able to upgrade your iPad to that iOS. The only iOS you can upgrade your iPad to at this time is iOS 5.1.1, which is the current iOS.
