Hi,
Just got my ipad and want to connect remotely to my work PC. What is the best solution?

I use Splashtop. You will need to download some software to your PC too. But have a look at the app and they explain this there.

Hey all, new member here. I am mainly a PC guy and originally bought an iPad 1 for my wife to access the internet while on the sofa watching TV. Of course, like most gifts I get her she never used it so I picked up 3 months ago and started playing with it. I ended up loving it so much I just got an iPad 3 and gifted the other to my son. We do a lot of camping and fishing and are heading down to the Keys next week and I'm taking my iPad instead of my standard laptop.

Hi Mdina arrived into the i World. I'm completly new in this World and I did buy this wonderful iPad for my Company. The plan was to use it, for having my email with me all time, so that my clients always are able to get in contact with me. To collect new business contacts, use gps, and so. But i also found a excellent app that helps mé to keep completly system in how Much time I use at every client. I simply love it, but still have much to learn. Luckly I have a 4 year old son, that got a iPad from his father a few months ago. So he helps me sometimes. And my ex husband helped me for the first couple of hours to start it up I hope all of you Can help me to learn much more, and maybe many more business activités can become even more effective

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

The new iPad or iPad 3 came with OS 5.1. All other iPads were given the choice to update to this version also. Whenever an update is released it is your choice on whether you update but it is available across all iPads. I myself would recommend to update whenever they become available as all apps get updated also to run on the new OS.

The 3G/4G version is more expensive, you can just google for the different prices. If you want this feature you need to purchase the 3G/4G model as no it is not something you can add later. I will say that the 3G/4G models are the iPads to purchase if you want true GPS ability and as the chip is built into the iPad, an activated sim is not required to access it. Hope this helps you.
