What's new

If you are new, please post an introduction thread.

Hi Rich thanks for the thread, very informative.Still haven't decided if I will be buying both ipad2 in the US or 1 Unit in Manila Philippines,i need some help,
1. The adapter charger for the ipad is auto volt right?120-220vac?
2. This is because I can get 10% discount in walmart as my cousin is a Store Manager there,so with the global warranty, better to purchase both in the US with the 10% discount?
Please advise.
gracias,
neil

De nada Neil!

1. Yes the charger is 110v/220v so depending on where you are in the world when you buy it and where you are in the world when you use it you may need a mains adapter is all.

2. If you can get 10% off that would be better than no percent off. :) Double check with your brother though, Apple products are often excluded from employee discounts. I don't know if that's the case with Wal*Mart...I refuse to shop there (but that's a whole other story). ;)

Let us know how it goes!

Hello. New to the site, but not new to apple or iPad. Have the iPad 1 and am upgrading to iPad 2. The iPad 1 is going to my 81 year old mother, while I am getting a 3G iPad 2. I got the iPad 1 when it first came out and use it just about every day, but wish I would have got the 3G version instead. Too many times not near wifi. I am a big time Apple user, with an iPhone 4, iMac, ATV2 and macbook, and everything is integrated and works like a charm. Never have to figure out what is compatible. They all are and it seamless. :)

Hi everyone,

My name is Moni. I love iDevices. I started with the iPhone 3Gs and an iMac, then the iPhone 4. Now I've added the iPad 2 and am trying to decide if I'm going to get the iPhone 4S or wait until the next version. It also time to upgrade my Mac.
