Hi I am new to Apple and to this great device ipad 2. I have been a MS person for all my life and was given a gift of a iPad 1 which I exchanged and upgraded to the 2 with their blessing. I have been quite impressed and am learning new things every day. I use Office 2010 a lot with my business and have seen some apps that allow me to make decent use of the pad with this. I am an optician by trade and teach optics within the organization and would love to learn how to develop apps to do just that. So, if there are is anyone out there with this interest and wants to collaborate... Let me know.
Any and ALL advice on learning the ins and outs of this thing will be received with very open arms.... So teach away... I am all ears

Welcome, Bren, I am fairly new to Apple myself only having my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 for only a few months. I've had 2 iPod Classics, currently on my second, but IMHO it's not the same has having an iPhone and / or iPad and the like.
