I'm a new owner with a lot to learn.

I've been widowed 3 years now and decided its time to join the world. I love this new IPAD and am just trying to figure
Out the OS etc. I'm not very tech savvy (no Facebook, twitter, etc) but I sure want to learn this computer.
Any tips and tricks anyone can tell me would be much appreciated. I learned from being a part of an unrelated topic
Forum how helpful they can be. So here I am. I downloaded the user manual but haven't read much yet.
I am a 62 year old Quilter and if my friends can do this, so can I.
Thanks for letting me join. Oh and I just bought an I-phone 5 but haven't gotten to the AT&T
Store yet to hook it up.
Basically I want to understand what the heck my grandchildren are talking about. Lol

Welcome to iPF. You came to the right place. It won't take long before you're up to speed. If you can't find the answers you need, feel free to start your own threads, and someone will (usually) be right along with an answer.

It's worth taking a look at some of the threads in the off topic section. That's where we do most of our chatting. You don't need Facebook or twitter when you have iPF.
