Wow, so much traffic. Reminds me of driving in San Francisco Bay Area. :eek;

Anchorage has that kind of traffic.... I'm happy in our small communities here.

That museum seems to be worth a visit. So sad you don't have pictures of the Apollo 8 CM!
On one of your first pictures I saw the names of scientists written on the walls (I hope I'm remembering it right.) Does this go through the whole museum or just in a part of it?

That was in the flight section, where names connected with the development are displayed. To be honest, I don't remember if the same idea is in the rest of the museum.

I searched the museum in Wikipedia, because I was curious what it looks like. It's fascinating!

There's still one thing that interests me: it seems the boat is standing in a darker area. It almost looks like a bunker(?), without windows. Is it inside the building?

How did you end up in Kodiak?

No, I was in the Coast Guard. I was stationed in Kodiak three times in my career. Those were from 2006, my last tour in Kodiak. Also my last tour in the Coast Guard. Here are a couple more. I'd just gotten my EOS Canon 20D DSLR, and was in love with it.
