What a great, exciting adventure of a job you had. You've seen a lot of Alaska. What made you move away from here?

It sounds a lot more exciting in retrospect than it was at the time. I left Alaska, because as pretty as it is I'm not fond of short nights and long winters. Besides, all my family live in the lower states.

Given nothing else to consider, I'd probably choose to live along the Washington or Oregon coast. Wet, but mild weather, and very pretty.

Took this picture of a huge paddle-wheel in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. The boat it came from must have been huge. :)

Very understandable..... Washington, Oregon and California coasts are beautiful...

Here's Jeff Bianchi, from the Milwaukee Brewers, hitting his first Major League home run at Wrigley Field, Chicago on August 27, 2012.

Relief. I've seen that. Proof that I don't drive around all the time with my eyes closed c

LOL. LOL. ".... I don't drive around ALL the time with my eyes closed...." Too funny. :):D:D

BTW, that old DC3 "landing" looks so real it's uncanny to see in such a place. Huh.
