Agreed. We haven't had that amount of snow here since 25 years. It's good for the little lakes around here. They won't get dry in summer. But I wouldn't need any more.

My biggest regret when living in Alberta was never going to Stettler to take the Badlands Steam Train.
If we ever go back I won't miss it again.

Halibut can weigh anywhere to 350-400 pounds (2.2pounds equals a kg). They are bottom fish so you have a long way to reel one up. The best eating are the little ones weighing 15-30 pounds. We call them little "chickens".

The really big ones are always females.

This is an "Irish Lord". Always released back to ocean. Never eaten. This fish is all mouth.

We called them Double Uglies. They are not even usable as bait.

Then then there was the occasional fish that had bright blue blood. Never had the courage to see if they were edible.
