Squib, we have plenty of both, squirrels and chipmunks. You can have all of our chipmunks. If your squirrels snuff every last one, no tears will be shed by me. The little buggers are undeniably cute, but horribly destructive. They gnaw through the rubber weatherstrip at the bottom of the garage door, come and go as they will, then die inside. We have to try to locate them by the awful smell, under some pile of junk we can't bear to throw away. They have fleas and spread bubonic plague. The tree-rats are cuddly and polite in comparison.

Aside from that...

My my, you must have a LOT of chipmunks! Maybe you need more trees? Ours never tried to get inside, even the feed shed for the chickens. But I do live in a forest so maybe it is a tree ratio thing? I really do miss their chatter and racing around. I live on acreage, are you near the city? What drives me nuts here are the rats! They get into the engine of my SUV and chew all the wires and leave mounds of rat poop on top of it so the longer I drive the warmer it gets and all I can smell is rat poop coming from the engine. I will trade you rats for chipmunks anyway! :-) transport may be a problem.....

Thanks for sharing - however, the frog looks 'out of place' - :D

And if known, what kind of turtle is on the log - we have similar ones in North Carolina - Dave :)

P.S. Oops - just 'blew up' the pic, looks like a 'slider' turtle, quite common - the type that I believe lifts its foot while basking in the sun?

Well, I'm not sure that 'personal' photos are allowed (have not reviewed the numerous pages of this wonderful thread - sorry), but I'm on a Classical Music Forum w/ a thread devoted to showing images of yourself (NO, not porno! ;)) - but I've been scanning in numerous old family photos & travel/family slides the last few months - our only son will be 40 y/o in about a week (YIKES!) - my wife wants to post his early images on her FB page - SO, I sent her 4 images & also made a 'composite' of 4 pics on my iPad using Keynote (which may interest others learning this program) - first 3 images are of our son from about 3 months to the middle of his first year and last is him more 'grown up' w/ his interests back then (late '70s) - his little doll was named 'Patty' and his dummy 'Archie' - yes he did consider being a ventriloquist (is that spelling right?) - BUT he's an IT guy in Indianapolis (we started out w/ an Apple II+ in 1980 when he was 7 y/o - must have had an effect! :D) - Dave :)

Not the plane, but it's usage: this small aircraft should chase away starlings from grapes. We call them "Starfighter". :-)
