Hii Everyone. My name is Bob, but my Screen Name is Rgrsmbl. I am retired from active work but have been a pc guy for the past 20 years or so. I have just recently joined the Apple gang with my first apple purchase of an iPad2 and I Love it! I'm trying to learn all I can and I'm looking for some good suggestions for interesting apps.

Welcome aboard Bob, you sound like me, newbie myself and my first real Apple experience is my ipad2, although I did have the iPhone experience, I didn't use it to the fullest. I'm here to learn to get the most out of my device. Cheers.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

I see you are in Scotland. Beautiful Country. I used to travel to Aberdeen about every month back in the '80's. Where are you located?

About half way between Aberdeen and Inverness near the Glens of Foudland. And, today, incredibly ---- the sun is shining!!!!!

Wow you get sun. Tim. Oh sorry could not resist. We are spoilt here in Australia off to the beach tomorrow to rub my toes in the sand

Well, I couldn't be off to the beach at Aberdeen. It suffers from 'haar' - a sea mist that drifts in off the North Sea and covers the coastal area. Plays havoc with the flights into Aberdeen airport. But out in the Glens today it's lovely - so we appreciate it. You, Colin, have so many beautiful days on the beach that I'm sure you pine for the normal weather we have here --- cold, grey, wet, windy, raining, blizzards, snow, avalanches, .....
