iOS 6.1 for iPad 3 condition?

WHo among you,iPad 3rd gen users,have tried to update to iOS 6.1?
How was it? Is it as bad as you update to iOS 6?
I want to make sure before updating mine.

I did, no problems at all. Not many noticeable changes for me, but some users report their wifi issues were solved.

And how about the battery life? Does it lessen accurately or fail?

No problem at all. Went very smoothly. As for battery life, still monitoring via Battery Doctor.

The update didn't solve the problem of my non-working home button.
From time to time I still have to push it hard to work.

I updated the moment I heard about the 6.1 release. I had no issues with 6.0 and have had no issues with 6.1.

Updated without problems. It lasted about 12 minutes.
My iPad still works flawlessly.

You need to take your iPad in to the Apple Store. This is a mechanical problem, not a software issue.

I did and the only thing was the App Store no longer recognized I was in .canada. Thought I was a Brit.itunes sent a solution 8hrs after I inquired but I had already put my ipad to sleep and turned off re booted my app icon.

Join the club! There is so much to take in but this forum is great for the helpful posters that are on here. Someone is always at hand to assist in a positive way. I have yet to come across negativity in a big way here.

I updated to 6.1 and everything is working fine(except not to mention:no youtube app.)....its better than the previous ones.

Done without issue. Actually, I haven't found any difference.

Yes the Salish Sea is in Canada and truthfully it's my husband and daughter who are the Chelsey fans
