Just updated to ios 6 on iPad. Went without a hitch. I considered all of the complaints and thought "Whatever" and downloaded it anyway. I'm presently updating apps, lots of them. There's the first improvement. No need to supply password for updates. Also Safari seems faster.

At the current time, no, you are stuck on iOS 6 unless someone comes up with a means of downgrading your iOS.

That's a feature of the forum. As long as you don't try to post a message of less than 3 characters, you won't see it.
