iPad 1st. gen. memory problem

When I go to my computer and bring up iTunes to load a movie onto my iPad, I look at my contents and it shows 8.31 gig of my memory in the "other" space. How do I delete that ?

Restore your iPad using iTunes. This should help getting rid of a major part of Other storage. Make sure there's a most recent backup to restore from afterwards.

The best time to do the backup is immediately before the restore.
