lol, fired up BBC iplayer on iPad, then wondered why it wasn't showing eurovision at 8, after a bit of head scratching, realised I had it displaying the 7th and not today

Okay! There is a conspiracy in Somerset. Someone has scammed my hubby's Barclays debit card. It was in Sherborne, Dorset Barclays branch, he took out £10 and there was a camera in the cash machine which took hubby's pin no. And details. Only noticed it just now because we were overdrawn and we know what goes in and out. Went into online and someone in china has £293.37 of our blooming money!!!!!
WTF! We have had to order new pin and cards. Bank will refund. Hubby was told in Sherborne today that there was a scam last week in that branch! Never had that done to us before. We hardly use online and use cash machines but from now on we will be going into the branch itself.

Has happened to me, but from a petrol station. The bank will refund, but in the meantime you have to do without card and cash withdrawals. Cards win arrive quickly by register mail, even on weekend. I have seen once such contraption in my local natwest bank, i always know what the cash machine is like, but on that particular sunday it looked like a old school brick motorola phone attached to the card entry. The bank was closed, so i try to rip it apart but if firmly stucked. Then i went to the police station and reported it. Next day on the way to work i saw the contraption removed, but dont know by who. My gf brother who works for barclays bank said i was lucky, cause the kosovan gangs usually monitor these devices of their from a distance, and they would have confronted me had i taken THEIR golden goose this was in 2002 or. 2003. In 2004, i bought £10 petrol from the local BP, their cash machine on the wall was out of order ( but i aldready put petrol) so reluctantly paid with credit card. Next morning on sunday my credit card company woke me up, asking what i was doing. I told them i was sleeping and that they woke me up. Credit card company said they were not surprised i was at home because my credit card had over £2000 in France. I told last time i put £10 petrol from bp and then came home, apparently at the petrol station my card got cloned and the sri lankan gangs started to use it wildly.

Wow, Karma, how unlucky! Apparently they put in a teeny weeny camera dot in(think how small they are now) the card slot and it records all the card and pin details and then someone in china produces a new card with all your details on it! Luckily for us, we don't have much cash to spend at any given time and it was in the emergency overdraft so they were stealing the banks money not ours! The bank said it will refund the money and the overdraft interest and charges so all is good apart from the fact our two bank cards, Barclays and Natwest have been canceled so no way of withdrawing cash at the moment.

We are used to bad luck, our whole life has revolved around it. Stick with me kid and you'll soon find out. Sounds like a movie line! Half of it is.

My philosophy is it does not need to be tidy....just tidy enough. I am sure I will pay for it later.
