iPad 2 Users In The UK

Okay, update not the cash point scam. Hubby went to work and one of his colleagues wives was scammed by the same machine but for £500! They tried the next day but they didn't succeed so hopefully we'll hear soon. They asked hubby if he wants to press charges, he said absolutely! Anyone else been scammed? I went to work and all 3 of my teachers have been done at some point! Wow, we must have been lucky to have avoided this so far.

Well, I'm going to try going outside onto patio today if it's not too cold. No duvet day for me. Sun is shining, clear sky, birds are chirping, yup, a great day ahead.

Any rain your way Tim? Hubby says we will have a "Braai" this afternoon and maybe a bit of red?

It's pouring with rain, windy, grey and cold....no patio for me today!!

Glad the cash point scam seems to coming to a satisfactory conclusion. What a nightmare!!

Oh! What a shame Tim! I thought Scotland would be a little bit better than even my thoughts of it! I hate hot sun though(yeah, I know South African, but I'm English!). I like it nice and warm so I can sit outside not to get cooked into a lobster. What's the point of that! Apart from being all wrinkly when I'm old! Oops! That's my mum!

Hope it gets better! Is it going to? I'll just check and see for you. Have a drink anyway, red, cappuccino, latte or tea?

Technical Support, how can I help you?


FEMALE CALLER: 'Last night my computer started making a lot of hissing noises at me so I shut it down. This morning when I turned it on the computer started hissing and cracking, then started smoking and a bad smell, then nothing'.


TECH SUPPORT: 'I will have a technician come over first thing this morning.
Leave the computer just like it is, so they can find the problem and fix it, or change it out with another computer. Give me your address; phone number and the technician will be there just as soon as he can'.


When the technician got there, the lady showed him where the computer was,
said what happened to it, ... this is what the technician found wrong.

And you thought YOU had computer problems!!!





The technician told her: ... 'It must have been after the mouse!'
... The woman didn't think it was very funny at all!

Now, now, you can't be getting up to mischief already! Don't forget I was banned from going onto iPad when we had inconsiderate visitors while Eurovision was on!
