ipad screen blacking out

Hello. My new ipad 2 screen keeps going black when i'm viewing you tube or iplayer downloads. I can still hear the audio, but can't see! any ideas?

Do you have it set to sleep after a few minutes? Look in Settings.

Go to Settings, General and scroll down to Auto Lock where you can make the necessary adjustment which includes NEVER! I have to be honest somewhere in the back of my mind I recall seeing something about doing so with caution...anyone hear anything similar?

Yes it will overheat if left on for days on end, not a good idea to leave it like that!
