Hey there, glad to be a new member!
Just got my iPad 2 and am having a blast figuring it out.
Here's my biggest issue I can't solve:
My school has a file share on a server on the network. When you are in the building, all you do is connect to the server via Cmd-K (Mac) or Start > Run... (PC) and enter:
\\archserver2
My question is this: How can I connect to this server on the iPad? I have the server's IP address and have tried GoodReader (WebDAV, FTP, SFTP) to no avail. I've also since learned that FTP is locked down on the server for security reasons. Can I use GoodReader to grab files off this server? Any good known apps for that? What protocol is being used with Cmd-K or Run.. anyway?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Steve
