I moved this to the Hacking section, where I think it will receive better attention.

You need to give it some time - this is an international forum with Members from all around the world. Some of them are asleep at any one time, so you could have to wait 24 hours for a response, assuming someone knows the answer to your question.

Going to ask the obvious question first: Did you do a reboot? The one where you hold both the sleep and home buttons until the screen goes black and then you get the white apple?

Try that - if it doesn't solve it, post again. Good luck.

can i just visit the site for the current jailbreak 4.3.3 and it will download it on my already jb ipad 2? or do i have to go for 4.3.3 first via itunes and then visit the site for jb??

You have to update via iTunes first then JB

Now that the official jailbreak for iOS 4.3.3 is out, your best bet, IMHO, is to
(1) restore your iPad using DFU mode (see this thread for how to do that: http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-hacking/27489-dfu-mode-dummies.html).

(2) After the DFU, and when you are prompted by iTunes, just put a new iOS 4.3.3 on the iPad (just like normal/stock)

(3) After you've gotten a working iOS 4.3.3, go on over to jailbreakme.com and jailbreak (!)

Given that your current set-up is giving you a bit of trouble, that's what I suggest.

Good luck and let me know how it goes.

Thanks man..but isnt it risky to update and restore a JAIBROKEN ipad2 via itunes?? i mean dont we need to go to DFU mode or something...is it just same as updating a non-jb ipad??

@mickey

i dont know but my ipad was recognized by itunes and its now downloading the ipad software update..

Well, that sounds promising.

For my own education, you did NOT do DFU - you just plugged it into iTunes? And now, iTunes is loading iOS 4.3.3?

Just gathering notes...

Thanks.

Marilyn

yea i did that..sorry..ok this is too tough to go into DFU mode...its not happening!

i m getting the button combo rite buts not going into DFU :(
