IPSEC VPN thru Fortigate Firewall

I am a newbie to IPAD's and have moved over to an IPAD Air from Android. I am trying to get the Cisco VPN to connect to our company network thru a Fortigate firewall. Our firewall vendor has made the appropriate changes and the VPN IPSEC configuration has be verified with the appropriate settings. However when trying to connect, a user authentication box keeps popping up. The correct password is entered, but it pops back up again and does not connect. Any suggestions would be helpful.
