Jailbreak 3.0 essential upgrade

I recently jail broke my ipad2 around the 13th/14th July. Since then I have never received a pop up message concerning the essential upgrade to allow me to fix the camera kit issue. Is there anyway I can do this manually or checking has been done? My ipad2 is a 3G version.

just do it, no worries, its just updating your jailbreak to fix that issue.

If you jailbroke on those dates you definitely got the fix in the JB itself. The only people that needed to get it through Cydia were those who jailbroke with the initial release.
Trust me, if Cydia does not offer it to you then it is already installed.
