I am year 4 the first task and I can't jump from the ledges to the next area. I just fall off. Do I jump?

Hi all - I have been trying for months to get past a part in pursuing P Pettigrew that no one else seems to have trouble with. After getting through the door using the password from the portraits I can't get through the next area. It is an L shaped room with two boggart/dementor wardrobes. After defeating them, no door opens and I can't move on. There is a twinkling magical looking area near the door but no spells, movements, etc seem to help put something there or complete whatever still need to be done. I feel like I've tried everything in multiple attempts.

Can anyone help? Much, much thanks.

I think this is where you talk to the painting on the right wall and rehang him on the blue sparkles.

I have just started playing this game and am on year 1. I have come across a few blue chests now that I can't open. Can you tell me what I am supposed to do?

This is a game that is meant to be played at least twice. First time is called story mode, this unlocks and teaches new spells, it also collects red blocks and character cards, which can be purchased in the Wesley's shop (down the stairs and around the corner nearest the 1st year door)
The second time around you can play 'freely' which allows access to the range of characters that is unlocked. To be effective you need at least one ghost, dark arts, pet, strong, parsletongue and goblin character (think that's all) to reach everything.

For the chests you need a variety of spells (mainly aloehemora, sometimes wingardiun leviosa etc) so no need to do anything. Everything you need for story progression will be available to you in the story mode, if you get stuck, search through this topic and if you can't find what you need, take a screen cap, ask nicely and someone should be able to help you

Have you tried casting reducto? Draw straight lines around madly and break everything up, you may have to transform a platform or something. If that doesn't help try posting a screen cap

1. Who is the first dark wizard that you can get?
2. Where can I find them.
I have looked all over but have only found voldemorts ghost and he needs 1.5 million studs to activate.

I think it's Tom Riddle, and he should be unlocked after during the second year. I think you may have to purchase him at the shop though.

EDIT: maybe wait until you have a red brick multiplier active and boost your stud count?

Year 4, second task

I'm on year four and the second task. I'm currently underwater and the two characters I can use are Cedric and Harry. I'm on the part where you have to "Match the colored symbols to the wall symbols (in the correct order) to reveal the exit." I've tried everything I could think of, like swimming over the green one on the ground then to the green one on the wall, or swimming over all three in the right order, but nothing's working. Help please!

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could find all the chocolate frog cards? Because I've been doing free play for ages on the first three stories (only just unlocked the fourth), and I cant seem to find anything!

When you get to the cauldron, turn to the right. They'll be another chest over a gap. The wall is a different colour, you can just shoot the wall and use accio to bring the chest over.

Same issue... Help

I was wondering if you could help me. I am stuck on the shrieking shack level after the cutscene where Lupin becomes a wolf and I transfigure the flower and pulled the string down and then i jump on the green and brown ledge and then onto the grass ledge, but I can't get any further in the level. Please help me.

Would it be possible for you to get a screen cap? I might be able to work out where you need to go. I accidentally wiped my game data, but I should be able to help you from a picture.
