What's new

Let's talk shoes, purses, clothes, Jewelry, Oh My!

How about perfume, I collect miniature bottles of perfume. The oldest one I have is 32 years old.
Just love opening this cabinet, the fragrance just wafts out!

Wow, that's cool Leelai! I had a small collection myself, when I was younger. It seemed easier to get back than, but don't seem to see a lot out there now.

It's not a collection I set about doing, I just seemed to collect quite a few over the years. I always get my makeup when they have those giveaways and there's always a miniature in it too. I have oodles of those little vial bottles too, my girls pinch them all the time, great for your bag though.

Oh dear! Ive always loved top hats, loved the way johny depp looked as the hatter =D

I have a very small collection of antique hats, I don't really go all out to collect but if I see something interesting in an antique shop then I buy it, alongside my topper I have an old trilby, bowler, fez, deerstalker and a few others that I can't even remember......the top hat is/was my favourite.

So that really is you Gabriel, it's such a good photo. I love hats too and have a few, I'd love a top hat and a bowler though. What have you done with yours?

That's amazing! I take my friend and her daughter to Selfridges in London once a year, they have just the most amazing beauty/fragrance department, I end up with them spraying me with everything as I become their tester/victim. There is but one truth though.....for any men reading this, take note......for the younger generation Miss Dior Cherie is always a winner and for those who are slightly older, Chanel No. 5.

How cool is that I ask you. I adore anything miniature! The really old bottles, don't evaporate with time? I know they have lids, but one would think they still would a wee bit.

It really is me, we had a band and the girls in the band decided that I should be made to stand out, so top hat and black & white makeup,it took ages to put on and even longer to take off. I have a feeling that my top hat may be in my attic room (I hope so!) my bowler hangs from a hat stand with a number of my other hats.

Actually they haven't evaporated. I thought they might have too, but no. Most of them have never been opened even so I guess they are sealed and I've never had them in sunlight which ruins perfume.

Lucky you, having those women spraying you! I can't wear Chanel, I am apparently allergic to a lot of them, they make me dizzy. But there is nothing more finer than a man who wears Chanel. I just adore it. My husband wore it on our first date! Talk about swoon. ;)
