Limited time free apps info thread

The publisher of Everyday Mathematics, McGraw-Hill is once again offering five of its ten EM game Apps for free on the following dates: November 4-8, 2013

The following apps will be free and available via the iTunes App Store:

Addition Top-It
Monster Squeeze
Equivalent Fractions
Beat the Computer
Divisibility Dash

Recommended by my daughter's teacher. :)

It still says it's $3.99?
You have to go to the Apple Store app and follow the directions there. If you go to the AppStore directly, you will still have to pay for the app.

The Photo Cookbook is now free for a limited time through the Apple Store App. Go to the holiday section and scroll down the list to find the free app. Here's the AppStore link. https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/the-photo-cookbook-baking/id405959208?mt=8

Remember, the app is only free if you download it by going to the link in the Apple Store app.

Thanks for this one Sci.....looks good!

If anyone is having trouble finding the Apple Store App, it's listed under iPhone apps.

But you can't do it if you are not at least on iOS 6. The version of the App Store for older iOS versions will not work any more, too sad :(

Marvin App an e-reader app that opens ePub and drm-free books is now free for a limited time. It is a $4.99 value once expired.

I downloaded this app and really like the extensive settings to adjust color on pages and font. It goes beyond iBooks and kindle in terms of tweaking color during night and day settings. You can also uploaded books quite easily from other websites with just a press of a button.

Have a look at this app gone free:

Enjoy! :)

It says $2.99...not free...or is this an Apple Store thing?

Oh I believe you...just that it is showing as $2.99 for me both when I click your link on my PC and in the AppStore on my iPad Mini...

I wonder if it ended, but would be surprised that it would be so quick. They made this free to allow for current members to migrate their books from the old Marvin to the new one.
