Mail disappearing on iPad

The iPad mail app closes after searching for mail and downloading (or at least giving that message) mail. If this doesn't happen instantly the downloading mail message closes, it occurs once I touch the screen.

I can still receive mail if I access the accounts independently via a PC.

I have restarted the IPad and synced with my PC, but no improvement.

Everything else (Facebook, Videos, Youtube, etc.) appears to be working fine on the iPad.

I hope you can help.

Try a soft reset. Hold down the power and home button until the Apple logo appears. This will take 10 to 15 seconds. Wait for it to reboot and (takes a minute or two) and give it another try.

You can also try deleting and re-adding the account. If server settings aren't right this will sometimes fix that.
