The M-Edge company, based in Odenton Maryland, has recently released a line of accessories for your iPad that will make other people believe you probably ran off from an army base. The models dubbed The Recon Jacket and Trench Runner Series are great accessories if you’re into that whole vintage military style.

The Recon Jacket comes in three colors: Black, Olive Drab Green and Tan and can be yours for the price of $49.99. Just mount the iPad 2 into the jacket by hooking the slides upward so that the camera can be used without having to remove the cover. An adjustable triangular Velcro stand offers the possibility of attaching it in whatever position to enable use of landscape or portrait mode. It’s also removable. You also get a large outer pocked that can be closed with snaps.

The Trench Runner Series includes a jacket, a sleeve and a messenger bag. The Trench Runner Messenger bag is actually a bag you can wear across your chest with the help of an adjustable shoulder strap. It’s also big enough to fit not only 1 iPad but 2. The Trench Runner Jacket costs $49.99 and can house your iPad in a foldable design. Thanks to it you have 3 options for your iPad’s stand positions: low typing position, upright entertainment position and vertical FaceTime position.

The cheapest accessory of all, the Trench Runner Sleeve comes for $19.99 and can hold the iPad safely inside a four-sided frame with a cover that can flip back if you decide to use the device. All these military-like accessories can be found on the company’s website medgestore.com and also in Best Buy, Wal-mart, Office Depot, RadioShack stores across the country.
