I want to ask a question about the e mail messages. Some messages are not downloaded from the server. I can not find out why.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

I saw your question about emails. Are you using the older POP protocol to download messages or the newer IMAP protocol. When you say that some messages are not being downloaded do these messages have anything in common. Are they ever downloaded or do they remain on the email server for ever? I'm guessing you know they've not downloaded because you can 'see' them using, for example, web mail?

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.

I am using a pop mail account.
When downloading e mail on iPad, some messages, i can see who sent the mail, but the message is not downloaded.
Sometimes, the button on the bottom of the page allows me to download the rest of the message, but very often, the button gives 0 Bytes to download.

My iPad mail settings are : e mails are downloaded, but not removed from server.

On my computer, in Outlook, i can read my mails without problems.
