Hi, I am new to Apple products with the exception of an iPod.
My parents purchased me an iPad 2 for Christmas this year. I am really excited to receive it and get right to playing around with it. The only concern I have is that if I want to upload pictures to it from my digital camera, my memory card is an xD format. From what I understand, the Camera Connection Kit has both an SD card slot and a USB. But is this a standard usb? I have heard that Apple's are different.
Additionally, if I purchase a multi-card reader (that will read an xD card) and plug the usb of it into the CCK's usb port, will I be able to then access the images on my xD card and view and/or transfer them to my iPad 2 using this method - or am I just going to be unable to transfer pictures from this card? :ipad-back:
