New member and thinking of buying an ipad

Hi, I will be visiting the USA in 2 weeks time and thought I would treat myself to a new ipad as I think they are considerably cheaper than in the UK. Could you tell me if this would be wise, particularly if I buy a 4G version?

Hi Calton-many of our members purchase iPads here in the states than bring back to the UK. However, I am going to leave it to the experts regarding the 4g purchase.
