hello
i am a new member. i have had my ipad for one year. this is the first time i have had any problems with it. my ipad will not turn on or sync to itunes. the only think it does is blink. it has been fully charged i really need help with this if anyone can help me please.

Give this a try, the iPad doesn't have to be on for it to work
Reset: Hold the power off button and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you will see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start. This is a reset, let us know how it goes.

i have done that but get nothing to come up. how long should i hold it down.

I did it once when my iPad wouldn't turn on and it took about 25 seconds for the Apple logo to appear.
What do you mean by the iPad is blinking?

when i have it pluged in from time to time a flash of light comes on and goes off just as fast. i have it pluged in a different outlet to see if that would work. but my itunes did not reconize it at all. Does anyone no how to get it started

iPad still not working. Still not sure what's wrong with it.

Are you sure it's charging at all, do you have another cable? If you cant do a reset, I think a trip to the Apple
Store may be in order. Hopefully someone else will chime in with some other thoughts here.
