No on screen volume adjuster since upgrading to IOS6

Yes, if you are looking at YouTube via the Safari app (on the web), you won't get the volume controls. This is because, with the advent of iOS 6, you can no longer make the YouTube window be full-screen (notice that you still have the navigation bar at the top. So, as it's not full screen, the volume controls won't appear on screen.

I don't know why that is - but I agree it's rather annoying. The only suggestion is to use an app specifically designed to view Youtube videos (of which there are several on the AppStore).
