Boy Genius Report has a story today warning that you might need to check first if you’re planning to buy an iPad 2 at a Verizon store, or if you are specifically looking to buy a 64GB iPad 2 at an AT&T store. Apparently BGR has heard that not all Verizon stores will be getting the iPad 2, although you will be able to order one on site if that’s the case. Best to call beforehand to check if your local store will be having stock. BGR has also heard that no AT&T stores will be stocking the 64GB iPad 2, although they will definitely be selling the 16GB and 32GB models in both black and white. There is no official word from AT&T to explain the lack of 64GB models in their stores. Meanwhile, BGR says that unlike AT&T, Verizon Wireless shops will definitely be selling the 64GB model.
