OneDrive is Microsoft's file hosting service that allows users to upload and sync files to a cloud storage and then access them from a Web browser or their local device. Available as a free app for iPhone and iPad users, as well, the service has recently been updated with some much-needed new features.

Microsoft has updated its OneDrive app for iOS with Recycle Bin support, push notifications for shared files and folders, document provider extension support, and more. Here's the entire list with the improvements:
  • Document Provider extension support
  • Push notifications for shared files and folders
  • Recycle Bin support
  • Send feedback directly from the app
  • Bug fixes and stability improvements
The included support for the Recycle Bin as well as push notifications for any changes made to shared folders and files have been some of the most requested features. However, many iOS users are still looking forward for Microsoft to enable the offline viewing mode, which could prove to be very helpful in those moments when you don't have an Internet connection.

Speaking of the basic features, OneDrive can do the following:
  • Automatically upload photos and videos to OneDrive using Camera Backup
  • Browse all your OneDrive files and files shared with you
  • Share files by sending a link in email or getting a link to copy and paste
  • Move, delete, and rename files, and create new folders
  • Open your OneDrive files in other apps, including Office apps
  • Quickly get to documents you've recently opened
  • Search for your files and folders
You can follow the link at the end to download OneDrive from the App Store for free. Let us know what you think of the new features by leaving your comment below.
