Playing WMV files from iPad email

I bought two apps that are suppose to open and play a WMV file attachment in email. I have tried web email and the iPad email and neither app that I bought would play any WMV file. Any ideas?

Which apps?

Did you try tap-holding the links to the files in the Mail app. You should get a menu with an Open In option. Select the Open In to get a list of compatible apps. If you have more than one or two you may have to scroll. That isn't always obvious.

I emailed the developer. The issue is a bug if you have password of the app turned on. Turned off password and WMV file played with no problem.

Azul is the app. Now it works great as long as you turn off password code. They will fix it in the next release.

Thanks, I like to keep an ear out for other apps. OPlayer will also work, btw.
