Please help re update

My iPad went through most of download then stopped with error 50__ something. It then went into restoring and is now on restoring apps and has been for a while. There is nothing showing on iPad that looks like its syncing with iTunes do I pressed some apps icons on the iPad and none of them will open. I went into settings to see what version is showing and it says 5.

What do I do now, please help

If it is still restoring, just leave it. The same thing happened on mine, it didn't look like anything was happening, iOS 5 showed up and all apps would not open. I left it, and when it was finished it was fine. You could check on iTunes to see it is still going.
