It's not really my type of music either, but at least it was clean and I could follow it.... Now if you talk about rap ...., I totally loathe it!

I just can't fathom how some of it is even classed as music! And the lyrics are a horror story!!

Some reggae is fine but it's far and few between and definitely not for long!

When rap started, I didn't understand enough to follow the lyrics.
My son and daughter don't like them either. When they are at home, I don't have to listen to it, so I haven't heard rap or reggae for quite a while.

Our girls aren't into it either, so that's a very good thing for us, I couldn't bear having to listen to it!

I know what you mean. Fortunately, they don't like that either.
Their taste in music is almost like mine. You just need to look at my daughter's posts in the music thread to see what she prefers.

I'm led to believe the appreciation of such "music" requires some chemical assistance.

It's my belief that total deafness would be an asset in dealing with it.

I don't judge others because of their taste of music.

Urgh! Not a fan but I do love everything else. My mum was a Cliff Richard fan so we listened to him rather than Elvis. I like a couple of his more 'modernised' songs though. I love classical, pop, rock, indie, etc...
