I'm afraid she has always had that scowl....she's never had a sunny disposition.

She's a pedigree British Shorthair and was bred by a woman who had never owned a cat in her life, so it was all for money!

We weren't allowed to have her until she was 14 weeks old and I don't think she ever had any human kindness in that time.

But we love her dearly and she puts up with us.....I'm sure she loves us too in her own way!

Lelia--she looks like she is barely tolerating the whole situation. That's awful about the breeder! I just don't get it. How can people be like that! The Amish here in the states are on the top on my s&$@# list. They are the largest group that runs puppy mills. Hate it!

Oh that is awful, I hate puppy mills also, those poor animals. I have bred cats and they have always been hand reared in our home and have made wonderful pets.

Mischka does smile occasionally and she purrs very loudly and sounds almost like a pigeon and she has the most luxurious fur.
She's 12 now too.
