Printing Question

Hello,

I would like to print from my iPad.

My printer is Not one of the new AirPrint types as it is about four years old.

It is, of, course, always connected to my pc via a USB cable
I also have a USB jack on my new router, but have not played with it yet.

Is there an app I can use to print via wifi to my printer ? (assume pc will be on) ?

Thanks,
Bob

If you have aNetgear router, you can download an app called Genie that will turn *ANY* networked printer, wired or wireless, into an AirPrint printer. List of compatible routers are on their website.

Sent from my iPad 3rd Gen using ipf

Other solutions.

Printopia 2 for AirPrint on a Mac (I like this one, but it's the most expensive)
Printopia - AirPrint to Any Printer - Print from iPad - Print from iPhone - Ecamm Network

FingerPrint for AirPrint on a Mac or Windows (probably the most popular solution on the forum)
Collobos Software

AirPrint Activator for Windows (free)
How to Install AirPrint to Enable Wireless Printing on Windows?

There is also an AirPrint Activator for Mac, but I don't have a link handy. But it will show up easily enough in a Google search. It's the Windows version that is tricky to find.
