Safari history deleting

Is it possible to clear the history of safari sites visited on the iPad?
I would also like to delete goggle search history< just cant figure out how!

I am trying to "kiddie proof" the iPad a little!

First of all, welcome to the forum!

As far as deleting the Safari history, it is very easy. Open up the Settings app then click on the Safari option. From there, you can clear the History, the Cookies and the Cache. Clearing the cache should delete your Google search history.
