Screen keeps refreshing during podcast

iPad Mini 5, 17.6.1 The Devon Kershaw show podcast links below at the Fasterskier (dot com) website, which just started up at the beginning of this World Cup x-c ski season nears, keeps refreshing every few minutes, sending it back to the start. I mainly use Safari, but it's occurring in all browsers -- FF, Chrome, Edge. In past seasons this didn't happen with this podcast. But a couple of years ago when it happened with the NY Time site pages, I was advised to clear History and Website Data in Safari, and it worked (the other browsers don't seem to have that option). This time it's having no effect. Neither are closing/reopening Safari nor shutting down the iPad solved it. I did bring it to the site's attention, although it has not occurred with any other pages on that or any other site. Could this have something to do with the way the pod page is programmed?

Have you tried using the podcast app if your podcast is available there?

Thanks! Hadn’t even been aware of it, as pods I use typically indicate alternative ways to listen. That solves the listening problem, but not what’s going on with the website.

The problem could be with the website and not with the podcast. Is it available on other websites?
