I have a web application which has sections that scroll. I would like the user to be able to scroll those sections (html divs with overflow:auto) with one finger. They do scroll with 2 fingers but that is far less intuitive. If they try to scroll with one finger, the whole web page scrolls.
I thought there might be no way around this, BUT, try Google maps in Safari. The Google web page stays fixed and full screen, and a single finger scrolls the map as expected. How do they do this?
