9to5 Mac is featuring a picture today showing what is said to be two different iPad 3 home buttons, one in black and one in white. Both are shown next to two iPad 2 home buttons in the same colour for comparison purposes. If the truth be told, you’d be hard pushed to actually spot the difference! It is, apparently, smaller inside, which could mean that Apple wants to use up every available bit of space inside the next iPad, but for what, we don’t know yet! As 9to5 Mac notes, however, the existence of the buttons, if they are indeed genuine, points to the iPad 3 being released in both black and white versions, as with the iPad 2. Also, the fact that actual physical home screen buttons are now in existence and being photographed would give further credence to therecent rumour that the iPad 3 will be released as early as February, and that it may well already be in production. And of course, the pictures also dispel the rumour that the next iPad will not even have a home button!
