Sync Calendar and Contacts on iPad + iPhone

Hi there,

Is there a way to synchronize my Calendar and Contacts between my iPhone and my iPad without syncing those with my wife's Calendar and Contacts while we are sharing the same Apple ID?
If not, I guess there is no way to set up two IDs on the same Apple account, right?

You can share an apple id for purchases and use a separate id for icloud syncing.
