It's about karma! Earl used to be a bad person for years to get his own way, then things started to go wrong for him so he wrote a list of all the things he had ever done wrong and he is good now trying to correct those wrongs to inflict good karma. it's sooo funny though.

Family Guy, South Park, The Simpsons, Futurama.....
American Dad is the best out of all of them though.
