I've got Text+ on my ipad, Android Tablet and Android phone.
So what you say? Well if someone sends a text to my Text+ number the alert comes to all devices at once and whichever I answer and have a conversation with on one device if I switch devices it syncs the conversation to the device I switch to and I can pick up where I left off with no interruption. Think whisper sync on Kindle for sms.
It supports mms but I haven't tried it yet. It gives you your own number. It works over wifi or ota data like 3g, edge,4g, etc .
It's free or a paid ad free version on the app store and android market.

You will have to teach me how to use it, Mark. I have had it for while, wonder if I still do....

But I could never get it to work for me.

Do you have it on more than 1 device? If so which ones? The settings wording on Android is different than ios but both work the same once set . ios calls it sms notification whereas Android calls it pop up, is an example.
