Few pictures I took of the Cutty Sark today before the heavy rain began. The river is the Thames and the big buildings are Canary Wharf London

I saw the pictures of the burned out hull after the fire,it looks like they did a very good job at restoration here.

I saw that on the news, Haylees! I was so surprised as media had him at death's door.

Never trust the media Molly. :). Yes Robin's recovery is great news.

As indeed is the footballer Fabrice Muamba's story.

Brilliant photos of Greenwich, Good Karma. Cutty Sark look fabulous on The London Marathon TV programme.

We are planning a long day in Greenwich with our niece and family when they visit from the USA.

Yes, very good news about Muamba and Robin. I need good news!
Shame about that woman who died in the London Marathon. Her website for charity went up from £400 - £100 000 after news of her death. I wonder if it was her heart?
Great photos Ricky! I haven't been to London in years so it's great to see these sites. Come on Gabe, where are all your photos?

Many thanks to everyone who liked the pictures i posted of Cutty Sark, Richard Brown, going to Greenwich with your family from America is a great idea, take the boat ride to Westminister too on the Thames. guess what, today after work i saw a google car with the camera on top probably doing the streetmap , i took a picture and video of it, which i will post later from the phone. Anyways the google car driver saw me filming him on my phone so he sped off quick like a rascal :)

On a sad note, 2 people at work lost thier jobs due to budget cuts and others have to pick up the slack. They finish end of may, and are scrambling to find replacement jobs :(

Our thoughts to all our returned soldiers and their families.
Lest we forget........

Amen to that Julie! I've just been into the city and saw a few of the diggers there.

Yes Lest We Forget...

I've taken the boat ride down the river many times, it's great. If you use the Thames Clipper its cheaper than the boat tours and you see all the same things!
